Home of Colorado Summer Collegiate Baseball.
We had eight teams last summer that are affiliated with the (NBC) National Baseball Congress . All of the teams may elect to duel affiliate and join the (AABC) American Amateur Baseball Congress. This duel affiliation allows Colorado the capability of sending three teams to major tournaments, two to NBC and one to AABC. Fields became available due to the support through the local parks and recreation, high school coaches and assignors. Without their support our league would not be possible. Thank you for the support of all coaches and field assignors to make this possible. The Rocky Mountain Baseball League was established in 1999 formally known as the Colorado Semi-Pro Baseball League. The teams involved in the league cover the Denver Metro area, Ft. Collins, Nebraska and Kansas. This league was established for local college players to come home for the summer and have a place to play and gain experience.
The league is formatted for each team to play all 8 teams four times, equaling twenty eight league games. In addition, some teams will fill their schedules with non league games played with teams both in and out of our league. As always this should be another exciting year and a competitive one. One final and closing note. We will continue to be all all wood bat league. The league will have unified scoring through Point Streak which will provide stats of each team and league leaders. Look for the updated and new league website. Visit the league web site at: RMBL
